Description of Tour
Raleigh Downtown Dinner & Drinks Tours take place in the historic Capitol area in the heart of downtown. These high-spirited walking tours include ample savory and sweet tastings at multiple restaurants per tour, paired with small drinks, including craft cocktails. Meet the chefs creating artisan preparations of regional and global cuisine, and learn about the city between stops. Ages 21+ required.
Location Details & Parking
500 E. Davie Street, Raleigh, 27601
Meet your tour guide in the Crude Bitters parking lot. It’s the pink house across from Transfer Co. Food Hall’s Davie Street entrance, Please check your meeting place confirmation for any changes.

Parking Details: Parking is free on the street in downtown Raleigh on weekends. The Alexander Square Deck and the Moore Square Deck, located along Wilmington Street closer to the tour ending point, are a five minute walk away. Please do NOT park in the Crude Bitters lot.
Availability and Timing
Saturdays at 2:30. Other days and times are available by request. Register in advance. Please call or email us to check availability not shown on the calendar.
Booking Calendar
Important Things to Know Before Your Tour
Tours run rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes; walking distance is around 2 miles. Tours run 2.5 to 3 hours. Please don’t be late! Meet the group 10 minutes prior to your tour time so that we can arrive at the restaurants promptly. Bring a government-issued ID if you plan on drinking alcohol. List all dietary restrictions and food allergies in your party on your registration.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds or exchanges once registration has closed.
Restaurants Included
Tours feature locally-owned restaurants and food shops that support local farms and vendors. Visit 4-5 locations per tour, such as Centro, Sitti, Gravy, Roast Grill, Iyla’s, Bad Cat, lucettegrace, Che Empanadas, Longleaf Swine, and Raleigh Wine Shop.

How often are tours held?

Tours in each location – Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington, Chapel Hill/ Carrboro, Asheville, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem – are offered almost every weekend, all year ‘round. Contact us to request a weekday date not shown on the calendar. Tickets can be purchased on this website. Private weekday, weeknight, and weekend tours are available and can be booked by calling 919.237.2254 or emailing info@tastecarolina.net.

If a food tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list? What if I don’t see a tour scheduled on a day I would like to go?

If a tour on the calendar is sold out, you will be prompted to sign up for the waiting list. No payments are made. If you do not see your desired tour date on the schedule, please email us to let us know what date you are interested in. If you have a large enough group, we may be able to schedule a tour for you on your desired date.

What is included in my ticket price?

All food and drink tastings, restaurant gratuity, a guided tour of the area, and an all-around fun time are included in the ticket price. You may wish to purchase additional drinks or items at markets or specialty shops along the way. Gratuity for your tour guide is not included in the ticket price but is always greatly appreciated. Gratuity for your tour guide is required on private tours.
