Long time Asheville resident - since 2006! - Grammy award winning guitarist, and a food enthusiast, JP has spent years immersed in the city's creative culture, both on stage and around the table. JP loves great food and good conversation, and he feels right at home guiding guests through restaurants, discussing flavor profiles of the food, and delivering descriptions of the points of of interest and history that make Asheville such a unique and special place.
You can find JP on tours sharing local favorites around downtown. He loves to introduce guests to the people behind the food while making every experience feel relaxed, welcome, and memorable. His favorite part of leading tours is getting to meet people from all over the world and giving them a taste of his town.
When he is not out leading food tours, there is a good chance JP is playing music, roaming through the woods, working on building up the nature retreat he plans to open in the near future, or experimenting in the kitchen... with some exciting new recipes that will be a part of his highly anticipated online cooking show.
