Bree Peterson-Resnick
Introduction: Meet Bree. If there is anyone who has truly done it all in the food world, it is her. Lucky for all of Wilmington, Bree is bringing all of that rich experience straight to your tour! Bree has called Wilmington home since she was nine years old, and she got her start in the food and beverage world not too long after when she was fifteen. After completing culinary school at Cape Fear Community College, Bree dove headfirst into just about every corner of the industry. We are talking serving, bartending, cooking, catering, managing, teaching culinary classes, and even owning her own bakery and bar. We really meant it.. she has seen and done it all.
Bree brings a mix of deep culinary knowledge and easygoing energy to her tours. She is just as comfortable talking technique as she is pointing you toward her favorite local bites, and she has a natural way of making everyone feel like part of the group. When Bree is not in the kitchen or out on tour, she is usually still doing something food related (no surprise there), whether that is trying new spots, refining recipes, or enjoying a well earned night out on the town.
Fun Tidbits: Oysters and scallops are always at the top of Bree's list.
Salted dark chocolate is her go to sweet treat.
She is a fan of a good Lodi Zinfandel or a border mule (tequila lovers, take note.)
