Jessica is one of our “free floating food tour guides” leading tours across Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Chapel Hill/ Carrboro, and Durham... but also Wilmington, Asheville, and Charlotte! A pretty impressive range of the North Carolina food scene! Whether she is walking guests through a historic downtown or introducing them to a buzzing local restaurant, she loves helping people experience the personality and flavor that make each city unique.
And about that self-proclaimed history nerd in her. It's absolutely true. Lucky for her tour groups, that just means plenty of fascinating stories alongside your delicious food tastings. Jessica loves connecting the dots between local history, community, and the restaurants that help shape a city’s identity. For her, tours are about more than eating well, they are about discovering places you want to come back to, meeting new people, and experiencing a city on foot in a way you cannot from behind a windshield.
When she is not out leading tours, there is a good chance Jessica is exploring a new restaurant herself, diving into a history rabbit hole, or poking around her garden. She is always curious, always hungry, and always excited to share both with her groups.
