Tours: Raleigh and Durham
Sam Dinner
Intro: Meet Sam Dinner. Yes, that is her real name, and yes, that is a sign that this was meant to be and you are in the best of hands. Originally from Connecticut, Sam made her way down to North Carolina to attend East Carolina University, where she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Elementary Education. You can now find Sam leading tours in Raleigh and Durham - sharing stories, introducing guests to local favorites, and making sure no one leaves hungry. When she is not out on tours, Sam is stepping into her other very important Taste Carolina role as Chief Tasting Officer. It is as fun as it sounds! That means she’s behind the scenes sampling new restaurants and connecting with current tour stops. Sam says, "There is something about gathering a group, strolling through the city, and connecting over great food and drinks that never gets old."
About me: Sam will never say no to a good gin cocktail. She recommends Bittersweet in Raleigh. Cheese is always "on the table" for Sam. Sam, her husband, and their two kids have a running list of parks, playgrounds, festivals, and fun events to explore and enjoy. When traveling, Sam has already planned what she is going to eat.
